Cash payment (Tafelgeschäft)

Payment in cash is made in our office at Václavské náměstí 17, Prague 1. After you have checked the goods upon receipt, the invoiced amount will be paid in cash.

"According to the Sales Registration Act, the seller is obliged to issue a receipt to the buyer. At the same time, he is obliged to register the received revenue with the tax administrator online; in the event of a technical failure, within 48 hours at the latest. "

According to Act No. 254/2004 Coll. To limit cash payments, the payment provider, the amount of which exceeds the amount of CZK 250,000 (hereinafter referred to as the “limit”), is obliged to make the payment non-cash. For the purposes of this Act, a payment in Czech or any foreign currency shall be converted into EUR at the exchange rate of the foreign exchange market announced by the Czech National Bank and valid on the day of payment. The limit includes all payments in Czech and foreign currency made by the same payment provider to the same payee during one calendar day. If the payment exceeds the limit, the payee is obliged to provide the account number with the financial institution to which the payment is to be made without undue delay at the request of the payment provider.

The legal limit for payment in cash per person per day is CZK 250,000 or the equivalent in a foreign currency according to the current daily exchange rate.

Limits for cash payments do not apply in the Federal Republic of Germany. When purchasing from our parent company BESSERGOLD GmbH in Dresden, at Töpferstr. 10, the purchase is governed by German law: when paying in cash up to the invoiced amount of € 2,000, the purchase in cash (Tafelgeschäft) can be completely anonymous. For cash payments over € 2,000, the buyer must, in accordance with the provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering Act approved by the German Bundestag on 13 August 2008 (the “Serious Crime Revenue Act”; in particular § 3, para. 2 and § 4, para. 4 ) to prove their identity. The company must obtain a copy of a valid identification document. At the Tafelgeschaftech (cash trade) in Dresden, it is necessary to make an appointment with us in advance. We will inform you by phone as soon as your shipment arrives.

 

Payment by credit card

It is not possible, due to the high fees of card companies, which would increase our prices by a few per cent.

 

Payment for orders over 100,000 CZK

For orders over CZK 100,000, we require payment of 10% at the time of the order. As soon as you send the electronic order, we will call you at the telephone number provided by you. After receiving proof of the payment you have sent, or the funds on our account, we order the goods and send you an invoice by email. The variable number is the invoice number. Due to the fact that we keep the price from the order, we ask you to send proof of advance payment in time before there are further significant price movements. After receiving the invoice, please pay the surcharge in the manner you chose in the order.

 

Payment for orders over 300,000 CZK

To fix the price for orders over CZK 300,000, it is necessary that an advance payment of at least 10% be credited to our account. The advance payment can be sent by bank transfer, deposited at any RB branch, or paid in cash at our office. We will send you a document with payment instructions to pay the deposit. Once the amount is credited to your BESSERGOLD account, you can fix the price immediately or wait for a more favourable rate. If you are not at the computer, we send you a pdf data form with the price from the time of fixation. For regular clients, the limit for making a deposit is individual.

 

Personally

You can place and pay for all orders in our office on Wenceslas Square. 17, Prague 1. Max. the legal limit for payment in cash for one day for one person is CZK 250,000. Please make an appointment in advance, fixation is possible on weekdays no later than 17:00.
